About Us
Anstey Marine is a Newfoundland based company committed to serving the marine industry and offers a wide variety of services backed by years of experience and training. Since our introduction to the industry in 1996, we have provided training, consulting, and survey/inspection services to industry stakeholders including insurance companies, financial institutions, and the owners of fishing vessels, commercial vessels and pleasure crafts alike.
Based in Newfoundland, we are strategically located allowing us to serve Canada’s East Coast and respond to the growing demands of the marine sector in this area. Being located on the Avalon Peninsula near St. John’s, we are at the heart of the offshore-shipping industry while still able to serve the pleasure craft and fishing industry province wide. Our eastern location does not limit our ability to serve our clients as we will travel to any location to meet your needs.
Although a small company, our experience in all sectors of the marine industry is quite extensive and is backed by professional training and credentials. We have a long history in the fishing industry and have spent several years providing services and training to the pleasure craft sector. On the commercial side, we have a strong background in the offshore industry, cargo operations, environmental work, ice management, tug/barge towing operations and have surveyors qualified at the Master Mariner level. The size of our company allows us to provide the service you require while at the same time, working with you one on one putting you needs first.
